My boxful of presents

I am so excited. I have been interviewed by Rumpydog, [who gets to write far more blog posts than I do, Misery] about my tick disease.

Rumpy and the pack – DeDe and a pesky cat called June Buggie – write lots of good stuff so if you don’t visit Rumpy, please check out their blog here.

I promised to post up some piccies of my lovely Valentine presents from my sweetest Skye so here they are. They were all beautifully wrapped in tissue paper, which for some reason, Master decided to unwrap for me.

Here I am with my heart, from my sweetheart.

And what are these? What a delicious smell. They are yogs goats drops scented with vanilla! Total bliss.

Misery, it says I can have up to ten drops a day on the pack, make sure you give me at least ten.

But look, this is the bestest present ever. This is some fur from my fluffy favourite Skye. Her furs look just like mine, and smell wonderful. Even better than vanilla.

In fact, I think I should like to eat them.

Please Master, don’t take them away.

Oh well, back to this lovely heart.

And, off for a nap, still keeping it close to me. Thinking of Skye.

Now, there are more toys and treats to share, but that will do for today I think. Thank you very much to Skye and her mom for sending me such lovely presents. How totally wonderful.

  1. My darling Pippa,
First of all, congratulations on the interview! You have a lot of knowledge about tick disease and I am sure it will help many other pups.
Now…I am smiling from ear to ear after seeing the great pics of you (you are SO handsome!!) enjoying the gifts. I am sure you could have unwrapped the presents yourself, but it was nice of Master to do it for you. I love the expression on your face when you got to the bag of my fluff 🙂 I am so glad you liked everything I picked out for you. Make sure Misery gives you your allotment of yogs goats drops! aaaahhhh…hope you had sweet dreams with the heart held close.

    All my love,
    your Skye

      Hello beautiful Skye
The gifts are wonderful and there were so many of them. Misery rations different ones each day, although I am getting yogs goats drops every day now too.
I would like to keep the fur close to me as well as the heart, but Misery was a bit worried that I was going to eat it, so it only comes out occasionally for me to sniff.
I will post more pix later of the other gifts.

      Your Pippa xx

oh, what a wonderful post, Pippa! How nice that you arranged to have all these love presents posted just in time for the weekly photo challenge. I know you probably don’t care much for that – but any excuse to see you looking so pleased and handsome is fine with me.

Hope you are having a good evening, Pippa. You can let Misery know that I am off to an official tea this afternoon, There might even be some fancy toast 🙂

    • pippadogblog says:

No, I don’t really do photo challenges although if I did, I am sure I would do them better than Misery.

Have you posted photos of your tea? that would be nice. I will come and have a look if there are some toast pictures.

Pippa, you are so lucky to have sweet Skye for your gal pal. She lives near where Phantom used to live with Mom and Dad before they moved to Kansas.

We haven’t made it to Rumpy Dog yet but we know they always have awesome and informative posts.

Hope you get to snoof that fur all day and night.

Gosh, didn’t know your people had been up there. I’m not very good on American geography but I did get Misery to point out where Skye lives.

Hmm, I’m not allowed to have toys – or fur – when I’m on my own, for some reason I’ve not yet worked out.

  7. rumpydog says:

Wow! You really racked up with that gift!

Thanks so much for being my guest today!

Thnx for the link to Rumpydog. I’m glad the tick story had a happy ending. Your prezzies look so lovely and you look very pleased 🙂 EllaDee

  9. Wonderful photos, Pippa! You’re a lucky boy!

    Woofs,

  10. Bark out to you Pippa. You remind me of Peg, my shepherd mix, sister who passed away last year from old age. When she was 7 years old, she was diagnosed with Canine Ehrlichiosis. She was a tough dog and mom got her the meds she needed to fight it. But she lost a lot of weight and was so weak that mom and dad had to carry her around. Thank you so much for telling Rumpydog about it. I’m sharing the info on my blog for all my dog furiends. I look forward to reading your blog!

    • pippadogblog says:

Thank you for sharing the message. I will come and see you, Misery said Peg did look a lot like me. I had lost weight too but it was so gradual that none of us realised. Always good to find new pals so I will add you to my list. Thanks for coming over from Rumpy’s.

    Hi Pippa,,,
I saw your interview with Rumpy ands decided to stop by to meet you. Thanks for all the info you provided in your interview, and your nice photos here. My favorite pic is the one where you are curled up for a nap with your valentine. You look so very sweet and comfortable.

  12. It must be nice to have a sweetheart who sends you gifts. Especially the fur! How cool is that? Are you going to stuff it in a locket and hang it round your neck?

Your Misery is suddenly industrious. I’ll have to work on My Typist. She’s getting way slack. Hoo roo x

    • pippadogblog says:

I think your typist is trying to turn your blog into hers!

And no, I am not going to put the fur in a locket, however lovely it is. What a silly Pea you are 😀

Rumpy is a great interviewer and it’s a real honor to be invited. Your pictures are adorable!

    • pippadogblog says:

      Thanks Bassa

Yes Rumpy is a good interviewer, just enough info, a few pix, but gets a good message across. I was pleased to be asked.
